I’m Kathy Webb, and I’m thrilled to share my paintings with you!

Many years ago, I studied art at Texas Christian University (TCU). After exploring several different careers, I’m grateful to finally return to what I love most—creating art.

For seven years, I owned and taught at a wine and paint business in Winston Salem, NC, where I led evening classes teaching people how to paint a variety of subjects. Recently, I’ve stepped away from teaching to focus fully on painting. I’m never alone in the studio—my faithful dog is always by my side, cheering me on with every brush stroke. I’ve had dogs my whole life, and each has inspired several paintings. If you spot a chow in my work, that’s one of my beloved pups.

I enjoy the challenge of painting realistically as well as the freedom of whimsical creativity. As you’ll see in my gallery, animals are my favorite subjects. I love imagining them in clouds, sitting in their favorite chairs, or hanging out in cozy rooms, each painting reflecting a bit of their unique personality.

While animals are my main muse, I also paint a variety of subjects inspired by my love of nature, which comes from growing up in the Texas countryside. Recently, I’ve expanded my work to include abstract pieces as well.

Every moment I spend painting brings me joy, and I hope you feel that when you see my work.
